Diet and Nutrition

You are definitely what you eat. Achieving a healthy balanced diet is not about cutting out certain foods, in fact this can be bad for your health as reducing or eliminating particular foods can mean you aren't getting the right amount of nutrients. Eating a sufficient amount of each of the five food groups; bread cereals and potatoes, fruit and vegetables, milk and dairy, meat, fish and alternatives and fat and sugar means that you are getting the right amount of carbohydrates, proteins, fats and vitamins and minerals that your body needs to support homeostasis or optimum functioning of your mind and body.

Exercise

Increasing the amount of exercise you do is not only good for your heart and overall physical health but your mind and emotional wellbeing too.
